So recently there were reports of R.Kelly music being targeted on Spotify because of the accusations of R.Kelly’s “Sex Ring” and then targeted a few other artist for alleged “hate music“. Also targeted was rapper XXX Tentacion and his music was removed as well a couple of other artist according to reports.
So in the mist of it all Hip-Hop RAP star soon to be rap legend Kendrick Lamar steps in and threatens Spotify that he will pull all of his content off of the Spotify platform if they don’t change their stupid rules. XXX Tentacion shows respect to both Spotify for listening and thanking Kendrick Lamar for stepping in and applying pressure on that issue.
Regardless to what there are different genres of music that address certain content and there is no back lash from it as far as we know ) however, we not gonna allow them to “control” our expression and content either. So.. yeah.. Good job on Kendrick and good look for XXX Tentacion for being a young man about it.
