OJ Simpson is finally being released from Love Lock Prison in Nevada after being convicted and sentenced to 33 years for armed robbery charges and ultimately serving close to 9. Well today, OJ Simpson was granted parole and is set to be released by October 1st, 2017. This was OJ’s second parole hearing, he had his first hearing about 4 years ago.
Once again, Oj had us holding our breaths on yet another verdict of his. Although his sentence was excessive, Oj’s daughter came in to the court and spoke on her dad’s behalf with an emotional speech that expressed the need for her dad (OJ) to come home and be a dad once again. “He is my rock” she said and “nobody can imagine what my family has been going through”. However, we can only imagine.
Also speaking on OJ’S behalf was one of the men that actually had part in stealing or having possession of the stolen goods that OJ went after. Come to find out, that they were actually long time friends so all of these things worked in his favor.
HOWEVER:
Due to his work ethic in completing programs while incarcerated and providing Baptist church services for inmates using his clout. That, along with the testimonies from his daughter and friend is what really allowed him to get out. He did abide by the rules and suffered no infractions during his stay. However, It wasn’t the best performance in terms of answering the parole questions he was asked. He was long winded and still had the “blame game” thing going on with a recap of events from the day things happened. It would’ve been easier to just be straight forward and admitting to his wrong. Entirely.. None the less, OJ has done it again. We are definitly glad he’s home again with his family come OCT 1ST, 2017..
