Mayor Mamdani is seeming like he get’s it and he picked the right person to deliver the message! Starting in Fall of 2026, the New York City Mayor has not only stated his upcoming project but has brought superstar Cardi B into the mix.
What’s This About?
Childcare has always been a huge issue when it comes to parenting newborns to the 2 year old child mark, especially when it’s time for the involved parent(s) to return to work, not only searching but vetting can be stressful as well. So, Mayor Mamdani has recently announced his free childcare/daycare project set to launch in the fall of 2026 ( as mentioned earlier) that helps parents in need of childcare targeted for 2 year olds called “2-k” synonym to pre-k. The project starts in the BX ( throw up your X’s) and to further that, there will be a ” jingle contest ” for persons who come up with the best jingle for the project and the Mayor has appointed Cardi B as a judge for the best jingle!
