Chicago rapper Lil Durk and wife India Royale were both released from Federal jail after being found not guilty on all charges. Both him and spouse were initially charged with a murder for hire incident that was alleged aimed at an alleged rival and rapper Quando Rondo. Fortunately Quando Rondo was not hit in that situation but his cousin was fatally killed instead.
The jury deliberations lasted for 3 days before acquitting both Durk & wife India according to reports. However, both of Durks co-defendants were convicted of conspiracy to commit “stalking”, stalking using a dangerous weapon and stalking resulting in death. Although Durk and spouse have been on those charges, according to reports, the prosecution has also expressed the dissatisfying decision coming from the jury that lead up to the acquittal but also states that they’re looking forward to presenting the next case.
