5 time NBA Champion Kobe Bryant passes away at 41. We will never get used to this.

Here it is, the year 2020 and among other crazy things going on in the world, would’ve never thought we would be mourning the loss of one of our heroes, one of our legends, one of our icons Kobe Bryant. A 18 year veteran of the NBA, a 20 time allstar, lead the Lakers to 5 NBA championships. Scored 81 points in a game and scored 62 points in his last game played as a Laker and a bunch of other accomplishments that’s not easy for the average player.

More importantly, him leaving the NBA after a 20 year stint, he became a better husband, father and freind to those who loved him.

On January 27,2020 Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna “Gigi” Bryant (Kobe 13 year old daughter) and 7 other passengers were aboard on a Sikorsky S-76B helicopter flight to

The Mamba Basketball Academy located in Los Angles county where a basketball event was being held. However, the crash happened by Calabasis, California a little before 10 a.m. PT according to reports. Being given “special permission” to take flight even though there were fog conditions and also a warning given to the pilot that the vessel was flying below radar ultimately resulting in the demise of the entire passengers.

A sad, sad untimely and very disturbing occurrence. For everyone on board and now their families. The entire world mourns and can’t fathom. As we have travelers everyday that take flights but more importantly, it kind of makes you wonder what were the last words when they realized there was trouble? A brush fire caused by the crash prevented workers from getting to scene right away.

A tragedy to say the least. I think the world feels even more crazier when the reports of Bryants 13 year old daughter Gianna nicknamed GIGI came about.

Kobe is survived by his wife and 3 other daughters. Also on the flight was John Altobelli ( Champion baseball coach) his wife Keri and his daughter Alyissa. Other victims are Christina Mauser, Sarah Chester and Peyton Chester and Ara Zobayan.

Our deepest condolences go out to ALL of their families.
