According to reports master troller and self proclaimed King of New York TEKASHI69 has been recently added to the NIKKIHNDRXXX tour that begins September 21st 2018. Although that Future and Nikki Minaj are very well respected in the game and still do have core fans but! Things seem to have taken a slight shift. This doesn’t necessarily take anything away from these vets as artist (NIKKI & FUTURE) or their accomplishments throughout the years, HOWEVER!, In order to sell tickets to a certain group OR to sell MORE tickets period and in order to do that, some adjustment had to been made.
In all actuality, it’s a smart move on the promoters part. There are still other acts to be added to the line up of the tour but TEKASHI69 has been added first.
HERES THE THING:
TEKASHI69 has been quite successful since he’s been out on the hip hop scene. Let’s not take that away from him. He’s been touring around the world! Let’s not get that twisted either. The real issue is, TEKASHI69’s tactics in order to get his notoriety in the states are for “trolling”. Thus making it quite dangerous for TEKASHI69 to perform in the states and promoters fear taking the risk of having him perform at their venues. Even EBRO from Hot 97 radio station in NY, didn’t want TEKASHI69 in the building or performing at this years Summer Jam in fear of what MIGHT happen, but, was that smart? According to on lookers 2108 Summer Jam WAYNE was OK and MEEK was a highlight but after that Summer Jam 2018 was sub par and nothing really to talk about. hmmm.. Well, we shall see what happens after this tour but if those sales go up… lol #hoodmediaNYC
