With so much chaos going on in the world who has time to focus. However, with so much going on in the world today, how could we not focus?
Well, this Ohio native and current California resident Al “POPZ” Carey has put enough work in to focus on what he loves to do best at writing and singing music. As you would imagine, Popz, 77 years young, is nowhere near new to the music game and as of a matter of fact, he’s been doing the music thing since the 60’s with part of his journey was his positioning on billboard charts with his previous group.
Today, Popz is the soft spoken, vocal veteran that gives that Isley Brothers feel but with his own swag to it. His first single “Simple Man” has garnered over 500k streams on Spotify and climbing! Currently signed to the Household Name Entertainment imprint which is owned by none other than the RnB soldier, Military veteran and biological son Saint Jaimz who has had exceptional success himself with several of his own recent chart topping single(s)!
Popz has admitted in a recent interview that he was once the one doing the teaching when it came to moving around the studio, vocal training etc but now the times have changed since he was in the game back in the day so now he has to listen to his son Saint Jaimz’s direction with all due respect and he’s loving every minute of it!
