So as we know, reports have been flying all around about the Tekashi 69 and the Federal Indictment that recently took place. The indictment placed Brooklyn rapper Tekashi 69, along with 4 other members of the 9Tre blood gang. This Indictment came from FBI video survalence dating back to 2013 according to reports. The video show members of the 9Tre blood gang committing different violent acts. The thing is, the survalance footage NEVER showed Tekashi really doing anything! However, it was his presence of 69 while the acts were being committed that the FEDS were interested in. What it seems like, according to reports and blogs, 69 was potentially wrapped up in the indictment not because of his involvement per say, but because he was around! And the FEDS brought 69 in to see if they can get him to “snitch” on the TreWay Shottie, but and the other affiliates that were in the indictment, but to no avail for the FEDS. Tekashi, denied protective custody and is currently in custody in general population in Brooklyn house.
Here the thing: Tekashi never really did anything outside of the charges that are public and what he’s actually going to court for. The statutory rape and a couple of other things that we are all aware of. However, going thru the 17 page indictment, there is nothing really stating that he ACTUALLY did ANYTHING! What can hinder his release, is the fact he was on probation with a “cant get arrested for a year” stipulation among other lesser charges that he faces BUT! the good thing is it POTENTIALLY won’t be a life sentence. reports also state that 69 is more concerned with the welfare of his family Mom and daughter because they are not protected at this point.
