So legendary Female rapper Lil Kim was in Brooklyn at a her very own Brooklyn Proclamation ceremony. This is where she is accepting her award as a token of appreciation by the entire BrooklynN.Y. to LiL Kim. Especially being such a major part in Hip-Hop history. Along side one of the illest rappers to ever live in Biggie Smalls. As we all know, Lil Kim is a “Stand Up” FEMcee. These are the type of situations that people wait for from their career. Getting an Award or even recognition like that does a lot for an artist especially coming from “nothing”.
HOWEVER!, Similar to “Kanye move” an unlikely but likely public figure MAINO who is also a very established Brooklyn rapper and budding actor MAINO jumped on stage to express that he’s proud of the impact and influence that she had on “him” (MAINO) and his career .. However! from the looks at the video, I don’t think LiL KIM felt it was right time? IDK… *YIKES* #hoodmediaNYC
