Legendary Bronx rapper “Big Pun” to possibly get his own street named after him.

Legendary Bronx rapper Big Pun case is being reviewed by city council and petitioned to have 163rd and Rogers Place renamed. The petition has 4000 signatures already on it. News 12 reports it could be brought before the city council and city councilman Rafael Salamanca. he alas says that if there are enough signatures on the petition it can and will be something that can be voted on.

Big Pun died unexpectedly in 2000 after serious complications with his health and being over weight. However, his rapping skills were undeniable and to some, Big Pun can be recognized as being one of the  best rappers ever. Well, at the very least, the best rapper that has ever came out of the Bronx. Founded by “Fat Joe” which is another Bronx native and rapper and C.E.O of Terror Squad imprint.

Pun died of a heart attack in 2000. Pun currently has a memorial painted in the Bronx in his remembrance.
